No Karen, but I know the one your talking about it has the big statue of an Indian doesnt it and during the day its full of cops playing pool hahaha. The one Im talking about for rbuk is further down Rat-u-Thit rd, closer to Bangla end.

Mapjack would have to be about 1.5 years behind maybe a bit more as theres lots of things not finished like Than Thip Villas (we stay next door) and they were open June 2008 on mpa jack its still being built.

Thanks Cathy. Phuket is one of those places that changes so fast. If/when Mapjack does an update, I hope they archive and have available the current version so we can look back at “the way it was”.
Sure wish there had been a Mapjack when I first visited Phuket in the early 80’s!
Here’s a photo I posted once before on this website. It’s on Patong Beach, a bit north of where Bangla Rd. is now. At the time if you wanted to head to another beach you had to drive inland up and over Patong hill.
