Default surgery

Hi Kath,

I considered "surgery" last trip but the surgeon seemed a bit too casual and I wanted a little more reassurance that when someone was wielding a scapel over my face, he took it as seriously as I did.

I hope yours goes really well. There seem to be a lot of success stories and the price is so low compared to Australia.

Please be warned I want details, blow by blow.

Anyway very best wishes

Michelle

Default Research on Surgery in Thailand

Spoke to many people who have had the surgery. I also have a good friend who has spent many years in Thailand (is married to a Thai girl) and recommends a particular hospital and doctor. There is also an agent here in WA (one is QLD as well), who help to arrange all the details and are very helpful in giving details of others who are willing to share their experiences.

I know there are horror stories reported, but there are many stories from within Aust that never get reported either. My feelings (my opinion only) is that a lot of these stories are generated because the doctors here are missing out on the exorbertant costs they charge for many procedures. So hey, if they can generate a bit of bad publicity for overseas surgeons, why not. Anyway, I'm excited, as is my friend who is having the same surgery.

I will give a full report when back.
