Default Here Now and .....

We have spent 5 nights in Bangkok and four in Kanchanaburi, should have been the other way around but had to leave Kanchanaburi one day earlier due to our flight to Krabi being changed to 8am instead of 2pm.

Sawadee.com who we booked most of our accommodation with were wonderful and allowed us the late change and credited one night in Kanchanaburi back against an extra night in Bangkok.

We are now in Krabi at Palm Villa Resort, lovely villas with your own private pool, down a dirt road and a bit off the beaten track but so lovely and relaxing. We are having a wonderful time and we have no complaints about anything at all. People have all been great, food good and inexpensive, Krabi a bit more expensive than Bangkok, Kanchanaburi, cheap, cheap, cheap.

Bye now, back to the pool, ohhhhh, life's hard.

Oh lovely, glad that you are enjoying it. We were in krabi at Christmas. Weather turned miserable here after some good sun....never mind I am off to Cyprus on Sunday for a week.
enjoy the rest of it. Get to the stage where you feel that you are floating on a marshmellow.

We were at all those places last year and bring back some great memories. I know Bangkok and the beaches are great but there is something about Kanchanaburi that stays with you for a very long time. The remembrance garden with the war graves still makes me come over all emotional and walking down hell fire pass just makes you wonder how anyone survived.

Anyway, enough emotionalism - enjoy the resy of your hols.
