Rantee resort is located on Rantee Bay (Phi Phi island)- just wondering what the hotel is like and also if the beaches are any good. Any info you could share would be great! We will be visiting mid January. Thanks!

We were on Phi Phi 2 years ago and spent a day at Rantee Bay. At that stage the only accomadation there was basic and rustic but there was a flash new resort being finished. This may be the place that you are talking about.
The beach there is lovely with great snorkeling just off-shore. It is a fair hike to the main village if you want a choice of restaurants and nightlife. You can get also get around to the main sections bt longtail boat, relatively expemsive to do this on a regular basis unless you get a few people together. The resort may have it's own transfers to the village.

You have made the right choice if you want peace and quiet on a beautiful beach, away from the madness and late night parties. Phi-Phi is a beautiful place...enjoy and please consider joining the forum and asking more questions...you may then like to contribute your own thoughts when you return.

Did you end up going to the new resort on Rantee beach? I'm considering rantee vs. ao toh koh and not sure which would be more quiet and relaxing.

Yes, I totally know where Rantee Resort it. I have been there twice and it is located on the Rantee Bay in Phi Phi Island (Karabi). I’ve always been impressed by their beachfront hut and a private restaurant. I’d recommend all tourists who stay here during their vacation in Karabi, Thailand.
