Have stayed at the Sugar Cane guest house now 4 times and love it. always get an A/C room floating on the water. The rooms are not flash by any means but comfortable and clean. Many of our friends before we left said no way could you find somewhere good for around $15 Aus for a room but all have loved the place and would go back tomorrow. There is Sugar Cand 1 and Sugar Cane 2 have not stayed at 2 always at 1. They also have really cheap meals but taste delicious

I took a bus from the southern bus terminal to get to Kanchanburi.

Stayed at the resotel along the river kwai.





Very nice place to stay and I really enjoyed the cool mornings in the hills and by the river

If your are going to go as far as Nam Tok, make a small excursion out to Hellfire Pass. I can tell you now, you will never forget it.
