Hi Shanek. Sorry. I did try and edit that post a bit after I'd dealt with the dog trying to eat a hedgehog and reread the OP properly but Mark's silly time limit had expired by then so I couldn't. Rather than confusing things further by reposting I thought it best just to wait and try and sooth your indignant wrath if/when it came....

Hi Fio,
My indignant wrath is suitably soothed. Can we agree to be friends and continue to serve the needs of our fellow Thailand lovers?

Hi, when we went last year the motel we stayed at had an infomation desk. Amongst all the "things to do" were tours run by some company that had a whole range of activities to do in a day. We did one that included 4 activities, an elephant show and ride, James Bond Island tour , canoeing through the caves at Phang Nga ,which included lunch at a gypsy village , visited a monkey temple and stopped at a nut factory. This cost 1500bt for 9 hours. The company was called the Sutin Group. It was a full day but we enjoyed it.

Also went to Phuket Fantasy but you need to book for the late show and get there early (as soon as it opens) to enjoy the surrounding.

Bangla Road was a good place for a drink and watch the crowds which were very entertaining.

Have a great time

Karin
