Default Thailand for Xmas and New Year

Hi There

Just looking for some advice in regards to itinerary and accommodation recommendations.
Plan so far, but not concrete;

15 - 19 Dec Bangkok
19 - 24 Dec Chiang Mai
24 - 03 Jan Phi Phi (via Phuket)
03 Jan - head home :(

Is this too long to stay on Phi Phi - would it be worth spending a few days in Phuket and then head over th Phi Phi??? How much is the boat from Phuket to Phi Phi cost?

Any suggestions on accommodation in these places and must sees??

On Christmas Day/New Years Eve - apart from beer, beach and chilling out, is there anything worth going to, seeing?

Well, any help would be very much recommended!

Thanks

Cazzafree

Yeah it might be a bit too long for PP. You may get bored and wish you had a bit more to do, like shopping and entertainment, and more choice of restaurants. There are other spots in the vicinity apart from Phuket that you may care to go visit too, like Krabi, Railay & Koh Lanta. Only trouble is at that time of year you'll probably have to lock yourself into accommodation bookings which will cut back on your travel freedom. If it was me I'd think about spending Xmas on PP and heading back into Phuket for NYE. Being back in Phuket for the final stage of your holiday will make it easier for heading home too.
