Bali Palm Full Moon to Krabi

Hi to all! Just hoping someone can offer me a bit of advise. I have been to Asia a few times but am going to my first full moon party on Koh Phangan this Christmas. I know its a bit away but we are moving around a lot and I'd rather have a few bits booked and sorted early.
Me and my boyfriend will be leaving Koh Phangan and want to get to Krabi to spend 2-3 days there before flying back to Kuala Lumpur to get our flight back home.
Just wondering the best way to do this, prices/companies/places to stay in Krabi etc. Any advise would be most helpful!!

Thanks a million in advance

JenJen

When you get to Koh Phangan Jen you'll soon see numerous tour & travel agents/shops that will offer you onward travel to Krabi town. So you'll be able to book a minivan/bus ticket then. I suggest you do this pretty well immediately after you arrive as Xmas is a fairly bust time. It's not a long journey and should only take about 4 hours. After you arrive in Krabi town you'll probably want to head out to one of the coastal spots/islands like Ao Nang, Railay, Koh Lanta or Koh PhiPhi. To get to Ao Nang there are buses from Krabi town; to Railay you go by longtail boats; to one of the islands there are daily ferries. You will get all the current info/prices/times from one of the numerous tour/travel shops in Krabi town.

one of the best hotels I have stayed in is in Ao Nang in Krabi -peace laguna resort - if you book in advance you should be able to get pay 2 stay 3 - get a private chalet (not the top of the range on as there is not enough difference to warrent the price hike) - brilliant place good food and well situated
