I first went to Sanui in 1999and I love it there, as I said before on posts I would love to travel to other countries but it is hard not to go back to Thailand for so any reasons.
I was there in January for three weeks, one week of that being in Samui.
Every time you go back there are changes and that is understandable but when I went back this year one thing about Chaweng was this hotel THE LIBRARY HOTEL KOH SAMUI. Every day I would walk from one end of Chaweng to the other and would walk past this hotel and it would stick out like a sore thumb, they have chopped down all the trees around it and have made it look so bare it is horrible and has taken away some of the personality from the beach. It’s all white and red and it has a red pool. I would hate to think this is what Chaweng is going to be like in ten years.
I was meant to finish my JBR’s but couldn’t get around to it sorry but had to get this off my chest.
Does any one else agree.

Not too late for it at all and I have been waiting for it.
