Hi, can someone explain what i need to do, to backpack around thailand for 6 months. I've searched but everything ive found is for 3 months.

I get a tourist visa for 60 days then get 30 day extension for 2000baht. when i arrive?

That gets me 3 months, i want 3 more.

What do i do?

If ur in your own country i suggest you apply for a double entry tourist visa.

Most western countries will give you that, In fact u can also aply for a double in Laos.

When u arrive u get 60 days, before that is up you go to immigration and ask for 30 day extension 1,900 baht.
so after 89 day u go to a border and then come back in and you get the 60 days again.

If u only get a single u can apply for a single entry tourist visa in most neighboring countries.

IF u wnat to leave while ur still have days left u can apply for a re-enrty permti for 1,000 baht and then u will have the days not used when u come back.
