They are all a pain in the butt. i won't have anything made on principle they harass you to death. If they think you are English they say lovely jubbly to you what an insult we come from the North. The last few times we have been they have been the bain of my life.
How on earth they ever make a living i don't know there is one every second shop.
Quite frankly what I have seen that has been made is usually old fashioned and does not fit. the last one was a friend who had paid 4,000 bht for a chinese style dress and she could not even move in it.

Default Tailors in Ao Nang

Sounds as though you had a bad experience with them. Last September in Hua Hin, had clothes made for me & my wife by a great tailor & he never said 'lovely jubbly'. Suits were 1st class & modern & well made. If your friend paid 4000 baht for a dress, she was ripped off.

We were in Ao Nang last year and went to Holly Wood Tailor - Mr Vijay. He is on the main street.

Terry had some white shirts made for work and he is really fussy but they fitted perfectly and have been washed and ironed virtually every week since last July and still look like new. Much better quality than you get in England at Marks & Spraks for example.

We got a card when we ordered showing the agreed price and the deposit paid and no hassles at all.

I would happily go back if we arein that area again.
