Thailand in late October - Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket or Koh Samui
Hi! I'm planning a trip for late October and was wondering if anyone knew about the weather in late October. I've read all over the web that it is the beginning/end of the monsoon season. Does that mean I won't be able to lay on the beach if I head down to Phuket or Koh Samui? Will Phuket or Koh Samui have a better chance of less rain or are they pretty much both wet?
The rains, if there are any, are usually just little short ones, an hour at the most, during that time of the year. You'll be fine where ever you go. Just take an umbrella with you when you go out just in case.
