Default Cold

Have had the fire on the last few nites.
But not long now 13 sleeps and off to Patong and Penang for awhile.

Will be travelling very light so to maximise my shopping. Only 20KG now, used to be 32Kg and sports equipment free. Now my Golf clubs are included in the 20Kg. Am looking forward to Satay's, Tom Yum Guong green chicken curry and beeeeeer.

Default This weather & Travel

We also live in Melbourne and yes it is cold, windy & nasty. Husband is originally from Canada, we have lived in Vancouver and I can understand as the weather is very similar to Melbourne, except for the fact that you get more snow.

We went through Adelaide last Friday on a rushed trip to Port Piri, Port Augusta and Whyalla. Friday in Adelaide was quite sunny after that the weather turned really bad.

We leave Melbourne at 11.30pm next Thursday for 1 month in Thailand, I won't be sorry to leave this weather behind.

Colleen

Oooooohhhh, don't talk about Melbourne in the Autumn or I'll start feeling melancholy! It's my favourite time of year in Melbourne and I'm not there (sob, sob)
Right now, I'm in a place where it's also raining .... but very warm. Skies are grey and the humidity is high.
But I keep dreaming of getting back to Melbourne in the winter and sitting by the open fire (and with ducted heating on ) a glass of red ................... (sighs and signs off).

I'm off to Bangkok tomorrow!!

Very excited and can't wait to get there.

Just a quick trip (four days) - shopping, eating, pampering and catching up with friends ... will post a JBR when I return.
