Default Airport arrivals question

I will be arriving on a domestic flight from CM and my friend arrives on an international - both at the new airport and within an hour of each other.
From the airport website map it looks as though the arrivals for international and domestic are next to each other. Is this the case or is it further apart than it looks? Is there somewhere easy for both of us to meet up?

Unhappy I asked a friend

who has used it and he says you may have a problem in that it will be a walk for both of you. He suggests you meet at the restaurants on the 2nd level near International arrivals, as he says there is no central meeting place. Sorry.

I've done both domestic and international flights arriving there and it isn't like Don Muang .... no really separate terminals that I noticed, not that I'm very observant. However the new airport is quite big ...lots of pointlessly long corridors wherever you go/come from. I'm sure I saw a "meetings" area in the arrivals area somewhere. A quick google gives this spot. Otherwise just look at the same website and decide on a suitable bar/coffee shop. Or you could arrange to meet near the taxi departure area which was downstairs last time I looked. Saw rumours somewhere it was going to be moved to upstairs but hopefully they will put signs up, if not just ask.

Yes we both arrive at the new airport. I was hoping for the name of a restaurant or coffee shop in the arrivals (2nd floor) so we can easily find it.

Exclamation There is a BK at BKK

A very expensive Burger King by all accounts! Which part of the cow did your burger come from?

there is a food hall on the ground floor-southern end. I've flown in from burma and met up with friends flying in from a domestic flight at the baggage carousel. If you a both flying in within an hour from each other just check the flights lists above the carousels or/flight boards.
