Default Phuket/Koh Samui

Thanks very much for the advise but my husband is a beach bum and I can't convince him to go to Chaing Mai. I think we are planning 10 Days in Koh Samui, 10 Days in Phuket, finishing off with 6 nights in Bangkok. We are probably staying in the Central Karon Beach Resort, Phuket, has anyone stayed there? Can't find any where to stay in Koh Samui, it seems a good bit more expensive than Phuket. Can anyone recommend a descent hotel for £20-£30 per room per night?

Thanks Again

Lyndsay

Unhappy Central Karon

is on the headland between Karon and Patong, a bit isolated and not the best beach for someone that likes beaches

Default lamai wanta

I would recoment lamai wanta on lamai beach. Well priced for what you get. Great location on the beach and a mere stones throw away from many great restaurants.

Default Devastated

I'm devastated. I read the recommendation for the Lamai Wanta and we where all set to book it when I discovered that it's closed for renovations in Oct. The place looked absolutely amazing. Can anyone recommend some where similar in Koh Samui for about £20 a night.
Much appreciated.
Lyndsay

we like the baan samui- it's more expensive, probably £50 per night, but in oct when you buy 6 nights, you get up to another 6 free, thus bringing down the price.
