Default What do you think my chances are of ...

Flying to Bankok on the 27 Dec 2007 and pre booking 2 nights accom in Bangkok, then catching a bus to Pattaya on 29th Dec and just walking up to hotels to get a good price and accom for 6 nights.

Is this crazy at this time of year, should I pre book before leaving Sydney?

Regards;

Not good. You will fins accommodation, there is always something, but you won't have much choice and the price you're going to pay will be very high.

In general: the nicer hotels charge more for walk ins/own website bookings than the hotel booking websites.

This is a busy period- I would think it safer to book before you go.
