Are you really doing that or are you pulling our legs ?

I once saw an episode of a show similar to what you have described. Are you allowed to tell us the name of it and when it will go to air. (perhaps I can download from the internet) I'm a bit of a reality show addict.

Yes I am really doing it. i am going with susan my friend and we don't know how long we will be on. It is until the others vote us off. We also don't know where we are going just that it will be europe. the coach travels round for a month.
It visits some fab placs and you get involved with some good activities. All expenses are met.
It will be aired in the new year and i will post when it is coming on It will be taking richard and Judy's prime time spot of 5 till 6 pm on channel 4.
Re runs are currently being shown on sky so look out for "coach trip". Last time it was aired it had quite a cult following.
They are flying us to London tommorrow to to start filming on monday. Wish us luck!

Wow, thanks for all of the great advice guys. I still don't' really know what to do...I have my plane ticket booked and everything. On one hand, this is my only vacation of the year, and I don't want an unstable situation like this to be in the back of my mind the whole time...I want to experience a new culture, see some sights, eat some exotic food. On the other hand if I cancel, I feel like I'm cheating myself out of the vacation I have been looking forward to for ages.
I guess I'll just keep monitoring the news for now and plan accordingly. Apparently a referendum has been set for the beginning of October (when I'm supposed to be there), which could make things better or a whole lot worse.
On the topic of travel warnings:
One of the options I'm looking at is simply changing my holiday to go to Laos and Cambodia. However the Canadian government's information on that region makes it sound a whole hell of a lot more dangerous than Thailand at the moment! Thoughts?
