Exclamation Phuket Town

I think you mean the market around the Ocean Shopping Complex by night market. I would personally just go during the day and take in the real / main market (different part of town) and the shops just past the traffic circle / water fountain. The local market is an interesting place, mostly food. Yes, around Ocean is the best (cheapest) place to buy T-shirts, but just past the water fountain near the real market you will find some unique shops if you want something completley different; the silk Thai fisherman pants and tops look good on girls

DVD's? Cheap illegal copies which often put $ into terrorists pockets are still sold in Patong I am told. Real ones? Maybe you will get a better deal than back home if you want to take the risk everything has been dubbed in Thai! Be warned, counterfeit goods support terrorism and particularly nasty criminal gangs.

I like the night market in Phuket Town as well. Think this market is way better than all the tourist markets around Patong etc.

Also meant to say or are they the weekend market near the Park or the ones near the bus station.

I mean the weekend market near Dibuk Road, in the Chinese area of town. This is more or less behind the busstation.

The markets i was thinking of ,i think the locals call Mon Top or something similar. They are next main road up from the beach road (runs parallel) They are huge and have lots of food and bars along the end. They are open to very late at night,
