Bali Palm Schoolies Trip !!!

Hey everyone,
My two friends and i are planning to go to Patong at the end of the year for 'schoolies'. we're all female and will be at the time 18.. and im curious on any good accomodation that is popular with young people, but still being clean and just generally a nice resort.

and to make sure its right in the area. I've been there before early this year but i was with family so didn't really look around for accomodation for this trip so i would like to get an idea..

And does anyone know when like all the break up trips are, cause we want to make sure we go at a good time.. a party week time =p
Thanks

I'm curious too. Isn't Patong more the kind of place middle aged/old men go to?

G'day Tema,

If you have your heart set on Patong/Phuket that's cool but now days it is more suited to Package Holidays and middle aged set. That's not to say you won't have a great time or you would be harrased as you get all types in Patong.

However, Koh Samui would probably be better suited for a schoolies.

That is where the backpackers/ younger set tend to flock along with infamous "Full Moon" parties.

Hi Jax
Schoolies is an Aussie term for the holiday the kids take directly after they have finished their final exams (GCSE's) they really let their hair down and party in a serious way.
The likes of you and me would never want to be around when they celebrate
Cheers Geri

Hi Jax

There's plenty on Google about 'schoolies week'... suppose it's a bit like a young 'Wakes week'. without a stick of rock in sight.
Cheers Geri
