Default is it better to pre book internal travel or wait?

Hiy there
Am off to thailand in a few weeks and just wondering whats the best way to deal with internal travel, specifically flying is it more expensive to arrange it out there
cheaper to pre book, dearer to pre book?

are there any experts out there that would recommend a certain route to take to cover the main spots in thailand

any info would be much appreciated
cheers

Regarding "a certain route to take to cover the main spots in thailand"

How long will you spend in Thailand?
What do you want to see & do when you are here?

The "experts" will need to know these 2 things before answering your questions.

Hi there

Not sure where you need to travel to so here is what we did.

I was there a month ago- didnt pre book any internal travel.
We caught A ferry from Phuket to Krabi ( 1000 BHT each, $33 au), then flew with bangkok air( small plane but ok) to Koh Samui ( about 5100 BHT for 2 people $170 au) and flew again from Koh Samui to Phuket with Bangkok air for about the same price.

Not sure if that helps, but might give you a rough guide for prices
Grace
