Personally I wouldn't bother travelling with bottles. |
In Australia we dont have liquid limits on internal flights but in Thailand the same rules for international are for domestic!
We arrived at Phuket airport 2 weeks ago with our duty free booze and flew out to Samui on a domestic flight a few hours later and was suprised to find that they wanted to take my duty free off of me at domestic check in, I argued the point that the duty free bag was still sealed from Perth airport and that I hadnt left Phuket airport and was only in transit. After a bit of too and throwing they let me keep it.
I would imagine not everybody would argue the point and loose it.
So unless its in your checked luggage you wont get it through, but I wouldnt fancy putting bubbly in my luggage with all that throwing around its bound to pop.
No wonder Bobmac didnt meet me for a beer when he was in Perth ,he was proberbly sick of the smell of beer.
