Default Dentistry in Phuket

Just wondering does anyone know about getting crowns and plates done in Phuket. I know Bangkok have great dentists but as we are not going there this time.....just a thought.

I don't have any specifics for you but if it was me I'd look around Phuket town not at Patong or another touristy beach area, as the prices should be better in town. The major hospitals nearly always have a dental clinic, so I'd look at them as well as the regular dentists. Just pop in and check prices, unless you get a specific recommendation.
Here's a tip for you. I had a crown made and fitted last year. It's my first crown. Everything seemed OK when it was fitted at the dentist. But later on I found out that it's very tight fit, right up tight against the next tooth and so food gets trapped between the crown and the adjoining tooth, especially leafy vegetables, brushing or toothpicks won't dislodge trapped food, only flossing will, and I've noticed when flossing there's a bit of an unpleasant odour. So when you get your crown tell the dentist to make sure there’s a space or you’ll have a food trap and that’s not good for dental hygiene.
