I was truly surprised how much we enjoyed the Jiim Thompson House.

We liked the Loy Nava dinner cruise (they transport to/from hotel) ck their website. A bit hokey, but we had stern table for 2--decent food, great view.

Local ferry on river is good to see daytime.

Not crazy about the street smells--BKK is pretty full of some nasty odors/air pollutants.

Temples were everywhere--lovely with or w/out tour guide.

We took trip out to Kanchanaburi and it was great.

I could personally do without the city of Bangkok--if I return it will be to pass thru. We don't shop and are not gawkers so the neon scene does nothing for us. People watch might be fun, but I don't liike being in the masses. It took days in Hua Hin to get the stench out of my sinuses.
