Got a little worried about the extent of Patong Merlins renos so called them to be assured "No Bang Bang just paint air con & furniture" so we are willing to risk it and stay there, hope our decision is the right one...!! come on July 4th....Kylie

That should be OK, when they're fitting aircons there will be a certain amount of drilling and banging but nothing too much. Also they won't start until about 9AM and will finish at 5PM, as long as there's no construction going on it won't be too noisy. Go for it!!
