You can buy them in most of the hardwear shops in BKK and Pataya for a few Bht but are a pain to put anywhere after the water has boiled in the cup as the stay hot for a while.

I think we brought a kettle at a 7/11 for abour 300bt. Well worth it. If you intend returing to Thailand , bring it home as it does not take much room. I already have mine packed!!!
