Here in karon beach and have upgraded to a superior deluxe room cos the terrace room (centara) was lousey.
This is a nice big room and has the added advantage of free wine or cocktails between 5.30 na d7pm. They will change that after we have left!
Had to speak to the manager about a couple of things and he sent a bottle of wine to our room last night and gave a voucher for 2 hours each in the spa which we are going to use tommorrow.
Have to admit we have not been far but we will be getting a jeep on sunday so will be out and about exploring It have rained really heavily the last 3 days around lunch time and then stopped after this. It is very humid and you find that you are dripping all the time.
The pool around the rooms is nice and big lovely big pool towels and all i like that. This other room is also very large.
This is a big hotel and has lots of rooms in the centre of Karon.
We like the beach here it has squeely sand when you walk on it.
Need to get my hair cut was quoted 300bt for a dry cut no way I need to get it done for about 200 I am getting really tight the longeer that we are here and realise just how ripped off tourist get who are here for a couple of weeks.
I have bought a ring bracelet and ankle bracelet there is honestly nothing here that i would remotly want. I may do a bit of shopping in bangkok on the way back but find that everything is same same .......but no different.
