Has anybody stayed at Maenam beach on Samui?
Even though i dont mind a bit of quiet I am worried it may be a bit too quiet?

I love Pattaya and Bangkok for the life it has but also love Kai Bae beach on Koh Chang for its quietness.

Just dont want to make a mistake and book too long in Maenam in case its a bit too quite at night or has not much to do near by.

I was last there about 4 years ago Den, but have been numerous times over the years, it's always been a bit of a low-budget/backpacker area, so doesn't have much nightlife, a few little bars & eating joints. You may well find a spot you like there. However, it only takes about 15-20 minutes by road to Chewang, or 10-15 minutes to Big Buddha beach. You'll find enough fun in the area.
