Default Still need suggestions

Still looking for a hotel in Bangkok with pool for around 1000bt - 1400bt. Close to BTS would be good. Not fussed on area if transport is available. Had a look at quite a few but prices seem to have gone up on web sites...any ideas????

Thanks

Karin

Hi Karen,
It is getting harder to find anything for under 2000 baht in a good location with a pool these days.
The closest I can get is Centrepoint Silom for 2600 per night. I think it's worth the extra, will include breakfast for 2, great pool, near the river and less than 5 minutes to the Saphan Taksin BTS station. They are renovating at the momment but it wont be a nuisance as it is happening floor by floor and you can expect prices to rise when they finish.

I think the Federal Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 11 might still be within that price range. It's got a decent enough pool and is near the Skytrain but apart from that it's not anything to write home about.
