Thanks for the tip Fio. Yep I usually have non-imm O, I've never had any visa problems at all over many years, this is first time all due to my foolishly trying to use 2 passports, I wasn't doing it to gain any advantages, wasn't really any reason, just did it without realizing it would lead me straight into complications.

My daughter has Aussie & UK passports (she is Australian and lived here all her life but her father who is now also an Aussie was born in UK.

She travelled to UK etc last month and left on her British passport, so you don't have to use Aussie one to leave and enter Australia.

It doesn't make any diff which passport one leaves on but in the case of your daughter & myself, we would have to enter Oz on the Oz passport or else we would have to get a visitors visa in the UK passport, and there's no sense in that.
