Default Hi from Jackie and Dave

Hi we are here in koh lanta and the weather is fab and the sand it white and hot.
Just deliberating weather to stay here until the 9th or to go to Phi phi for a couple of days oh it's hard work making a decision.
got bit in Bangkok and ended up with cellulitus so been on anti biotics but finish them today.
Any reccommenndations for phi phi not outragously expensive which they seem to be now looking for around 2,000 bt night.
Just walked right along the beach and passing time on as you do very laid back here as some of you will know but it will serve us well before the madness that is Patong.
Kitty, hope you are enjoying?
All that planning and now we are really here.
Had word from home about the weather............shame about hte rain snow and sleet......not.
Will drop in again hope you are all okay.
think we will try to make the friday night BBQ whilst in phuket on the 16th April any one else going to that although I know it is featured more on TA
take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Jax,
I am sooooo envious. What do you think of Lanta? Which beach are you staying on? If you go to Phi Phi I would recommend staying on Long beach rather than Tonsai. It is a much nicer beach and you can catch a longtail to it from the main pier for 70baht per person. THe Phi Phi Paradise Pearl would be the best option on LongBeach within your budget.

Default Sounds divine Jax

... and normally I'd be insanely jealous if I wasn't heading off myself in just over four weeks!

Have a wonderful time and hope to see you in Samui after 13 May.

I've emailed my contact details to you, so look forward to hearing from you and meeting up if you have time.

Enjoy yourselves and have a few for me please!

Love
Daniele x

Default stayed

Well we stayed in Lanta as it turns out. Got a jeep and did all around the island. Found some lovely beaches and bays and some pretty unspoiled stuff.
Very very quiet at the moment as it is coming to the end of the season.
We have liked it but feel that the staff in the bars and eating places are not as friendly as they are in some other places in fact they have been down right surly.
That has not taken away from the fact that we have liked it.
Phuket tommorrow and this first bit is the time share jobby so it will be interesting !
There has been no electricity today.
Dave just starting to feel the effects of a vigerous Thai massage this afternoon.
5 nights has been enough here and we would not have wanted to stay any longer I don't think.
If you come bring loads of insect repellant as I don't think i have ever seen as many - there are also loads of frogs.
Riding a tuk tuk in to town with lip gloss on............big mistake.
Songkran will be celebrated in phuket.
Off for something to eat now and a few changs
Love to you all Jackie and Dave
