Default Bangkok to Cambodia

BangkokAir has a Discovery Pass which costs, BKK to Siem Reap $90,

Siem Reap to Phnom Penh $55 and PP to BKK $90 Total $235.

The seat class is lower than economy which means you must wait behind everyone else if you change a booking and want to go standby if the plane is full.

But the BangkokAir Club facilities are so nice.....

Another option of saving money is to do the trip via Kuala Lumpur. Infact Air Asia has a flight from KL to Siem Reap.
I checked because I want to go next year, and for two persons, Phuket-KL - Siem Reap is 12,000 bath for two persons.

However you must stay one night in KL both when going and when coming back. I don't know if from Bangkok is the same. Well, going to SR from BKK via KL sounds crazy lol....

Ahhh I'm really kiniaw

Claudio, your reasoning sounds just like mine. My friends just think I want to take the scenic route and why not? It's a big world out there, let's get out there and explore it! I guess I'm kiniaw too.

Ok Pamela,
Have a look at my info on the Deep Fried Spiders, read how they are meant to be cooked, like crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, look at the photos and tell me if you will still try one haha.
No way In this world would I touch one, I nearly got sick looking at them. Heres the direct link to the spiders!
Cathy

That's some great information regarding the deep fried spiders. I already knew what they looked like but appreciated the culinary description of what a spider recipe includes. Frankly, I probably would entertain at least trying to sample one at least once but like many world travel treats, know that my gastrointestinal system isn't accustomed to such exotics and will probably get sick. It's not a matter of me not wanting to try it, it's a matter of me having a bad reaction. Growing up in Hawaii, I've been exposed to many other Asian food oddities and fried spiders isn't as bad as some others. Ever tried Filipino balut?

An unhatched fertilized chicken egg. Feathers, beak and all. A Filipino delicacy.
