what a pity if it has gone,I forgot about the big neon lobster, but it was such a novel idea and glad I got to go.
How quick does time go? I thought it was only about a year and ahalf ago that I went but was more than likley about 5 years.

There used to be a food reviewer on this site who used the moniker emdee, who wrote several years ago that the place was a rip-off, in that they overcharged for the food, didn't present all of the selected prawns on the dish, charged a big cooking fee on top of the overpriced seafood, and the alcohol was about 55% overpriced.
I didn't heed his advice, and for a simple meal of vegetables and prawns and a few bottles of Singha, I could have eaten much cheaper in Australia. I remember he also said it had all ambience of an aircraft hanger, which I concurred with as soon as we entered the building.
Perhaps it is a good thing that the place has gone. Also I think, but I can't be positive, that he said that the place was owned by a consortium of army generals and air force commanders, which is never a good thing in Thailand
