Agreed, thanks Bob. We usually take Ibuprofen but will include paracetemol just in case.

Not sure how resistant this strain of mozzies are but I did post last year about tea tree oil being something they don't like. It may be worth using that for showers etc before you go and carry on while in Thailand. As you've got to use something it is worth a go!

OK ... so if we put repellant on during the day and at night and then lookout for the symptoms (fatigue, fever and body aches), give panadol if symptoms occur and if they persist more than a few days - see a doctor??? I guess thats all we travellers can do - am I correct? (PS Ive just put more panadol in my toiletry bag!)
