Default Ebay Holiday Vouchers ?

Has anyone purchased one of these and actually taken the trip. Theyre based on you attending a sales seminar (similar to timeshare/rewards programs) but work out dirt cheap for 7 nights ??

Any reports would be apprieciated......

I have just got one and I intend to use it as part of our trip from the 9th april until the 16th.
I would love to know if anyone else has used one.
I am aware of the presentation.
I have paid 32 AUD for it.
Will be interesting to see.

Default Haven't used ours yet but

we used one that we got in Koh Samui a year or so ago when in Bali and it was really good. We stayed at two places and the one in Candi Dasa (Bali ShangriLa Beach Club) didn't even ask us to attend a presentation and the one at Jimbaran Hills Resort was very low key, which is probably why we bought into it!!!! Pretty cheap really about $2,500 AUD for a 10 year plan with extra weeks available for about $270AUD for the studio for 7 nights - which can be exchanged like any normal week at about 40 resorts all over the place not just Asia.

Jax is your voucher for the Baumanburi Resort? If so will be very interested in your comments about it.

I think the company our voucher is with is Asia Holiday Rewards. They say it is not actually timeshare so will be interesting to see.
Cheers, Karen

Having trouble getting the voucher although communication is quite good.

yes- check out the url below for the vouchers. Asia Rewards is one of the sellers. Theyre Phuket or Samui -7 nights. No flight included. You basically agree to attend a presentation, which is a concept that many similar organisations run with. I did one in Melbourne, and took 4 night in Cairns. As long as you can handle a sales pitch for maybe an hour or so, and as long as you want to go to these areas i think its fine and appears so far to be legit, and really excellent value.

I have emailed the hotels involved however, and have NOT had a response, which is the only odd thing. I just wanted to ask them if they were in agreeance, and it was all authorised, but 4 days later theyve yet to reply.

7 nights Holiday Accommodation in Phuket for 2 adults - eBay International, Accommodation, Travel, Tickets, Travel. (end time 02-Mar-08 22:00:00 AEDST)

i have just had a bad experience with these.
i asked before buying weather the dates I wanted were ok and was told yes.
It took a week of messing around to get it and send the booking.
I have just had an email this morning to say that no availability on the dates wanted.
i have emailed back to say that I am not satisfied.
Watch this space to see if they do anything!

Smile Hi Jax

how about getting someone you know to email them about availability for the dates you want and see if they have rooms for them? Would be interesting to see. I have seen some vouchers on ebay for accomodation that does not involve time share at all. I think they are from gifts r us or something like that. Always wondered if it was worth taking a risk??

We shall find out when you let us know how you go....

I think that this may have been sorted now and they are putting us in a new resort called Thanthrip villa (Patong). Looks nice if the website is anything to go off.
We will see?
