Hello all.
The need to stay in an airport hotel has arisen (yuk). Can someone recommend a good budget or mid priced just for one night. Needs to be comfortable thats all !

Default airports

Most international flights arrive at the new airport but it will depend on who you will be using to Cambodia, air asia flies from the new airport but I believe that Bangkok air uses Don Muang as does 1-2-go(or similar name),Dont know which other airlines fly to Cambodia.

Presuming it's the new airport, I asked my travel agent this same question a couple of months ago, there is some accommodation near to the airport but it's very expensive, so it's really a choice of staying at a budget hotel in either Pattaya or Bangkok. A taxi from Pattaya takes 90-120 minutes (depending on traffic) and costs about 1000 Bt inclusive of any tolls.

Thanks. Yeh we always have stayed in bangkok but the taxi ride is always a stress/in bad traffic when its time to get to the airport, and i thought Id make it easier this time. But at that price i may have to reconsider !!!

I have got a room the night before we fly to vietnam and have paid about 900 bht
I am not expecting miracle it is called the convinience hotel.
The reviews on trip advisor are ok and as long as it is clean that is the main thing.
This is at the new one. We fly out of there for vietnam but come back into the old one from krabi.

The Convenience Resort is not bad at all. I stayed there last October. It is just a couple of minutes from the airport. If I remember correctly(not sure???), there was no elevator, only stairs so try to get a low level room. Room was large and clean.

It looks ok to me for a nights stay.
hope so anyway. it looks like there is nothing around it. that won't be a problem for a night either.
