Question Airport Transfer

Hi there

We are coming to Bangkok in March and have a connecting flight to Khon Kaen which goes from the other airport. Both flights are with Thai airways but they can't tell us anything about getting between the 2 airports. We would like to know the cheapest and quickest methods between the 2 as we only have just over 3 hours betwwen flights.

Dave

Default Too little time

Three hours is too tight a schedule. Depending on the time of your arrival at Bangkok it could take anything up to 1.5 hours to clear customs and retrieve your luggage. Then the trip from Suvarnbhumi to Don Muang will take at least 45 minutes. I think you will need more time than that outlined in your question.

Unhappy Amazed

I am amazed at Thai Airways; I thought they were more professional than that. I think they have a legal / mandated duty to ensure your tickets are doable in terms of transfer times and I suspect they also are responsible for getting you from a to b as both are their flights. I would check with Thai; I am sure they could not sink so low.
