Good people,

Sorry it’s probably been asked many times before but I’m just too lazy to trawl through all the old posts, so despite the risk of getting told off, I’ll ask the question again.

Let me say at the start we only have a week to spend in lovely Phuket, and this is our first visit since popping in on the Gemini in the mid 90’s, where we only got a very brief “taste”, however in our Day Tour we did get to see many of the prominent tourist things.

No doubt there will be tourist places that we did not get to see the first time which we will catch up on this time, however what we would like to know what are the interesting but not so well known places and or local activities that you would recommend, such as artist, potters, silk embroidery and the like.

Anyway any assistance will be very much appreciated.

PS. We are a group of people in our late 50’s so not all that interested in bungy jumping or white water rafting!
