Default Count us in too! Party of 6.

Hi Our little group will be in Thailand from May 29 - june 15. We are 1st timers. Only concrete plan we have so far is to arrive Bangkok, depart following morning with Tong ( Tong's Tours ) for Kanchanaburi for an o-night tour, floating markets, tiger temple, erawn falls, Kwai bridge, Jeath museum etc. Not certain after that, taking advice from all the posts we'll need a couple of days shopping in Bangkok and then I think we'll head to Koh Samui. Just having trouble still, trying to find appropriate accom. We're just FUSSY! You know, want 5* at a 4* price and it's hard to find places that will allow our two daughters in same room - one of them just turned 13 and is now considered as a third adult. I don't mind paying a bit extra but for peace of mind would just like the kid's in with us. She doesn't look 13, but that's not the point. I just can't see why we should have to get two rooms! I digress, sorry! Have a great time JaxW! By the way since you're obviously a forum addict, any advice or tips re: must see do, try, experience, eat etc. would be EVER SO MUCH APPRECIATED! Kind Regards, Jodie

what to do and see depends on whatever floats your boat. we should be in Samui up until the 1st June have just booked flights back to bangkok on that date.
Have you looked at villa rental with there being 6 of you?
Don't know if that will work out cheaper or be better or not. May they have some good deals. The Amari offer a free room for kids accompanying adults in May so would be worth checking out. lovely hotel the Amari We can recommend it.
Do you want to be in the thick of it?
some great eating places on samui as well.
you will love your holiday I am sure.

Talking Funnily enough

Amazingly enough, I too will be in Samui from 5th - 17th May. Perhaps we could meet up, JaxW?
