we went in June 06 and the kids 5 & 7 loved it and so did we adults. Better off planning a whole day there as there is a lot to do and see. Food outlets dissappointing. Only KFC and corn on cob. Think you have to book for food buffet but we couldn't do it there. We caught a taxi there and it was fairly cheap by Aussie standards. Only extra cost was to the snow town and we didn't realise you had to buy tickets at front desk and had to walk miles back to get them.Lots of great things to take photos of. Also check out a side alley of market stalls. We only noticed them on way out but they were closing. Got a great baby hand impression done in colored wax. But you don't want to carry it around all day so best to check out everything and ask what time they are open til and go back when leaving.
