You might well say Oh! Dear!! one thing though it can only get better :-) I'm sure you'll have a much better flight than your last one.ove Longridge it holds some wonderful memories for us, it's right on the edge of the Trough of Bowland and I never appreciated it's beauty until we went back. Both our kids were born when we lived there.
I'm in Melbourne. We don't get home very often but managed the last Preston Guild, the last time was for a family wedding in May 04... had a fabulous time (lost the voice a few times with too much drinking and laughing) but we cut our time short in England as we was busting to get to Phuket for a real holiday and some sun. Going back is hectic and not a proper holiday when your charging up and down the motorways trying to see family and friends who live all over. One thing I did enjoy was all the pork pies... I never ate a bad one lol. One trip I was shopping with my sister and she found me with a pack of 4 mini pork pies scoffing them (I did offer her one) she must of thought I was a right greedy pig !!
