I know Chewang very well and Samui and can say that you don't have to travel far to feel free of the maurauding crowds. Not so Phuket. The stall holders and tailors are not Thai.

You are wrong with exit row seats I would not have them given they are too narrow and too near the toilets usually.
Phuket had changed out of recognition to us in 18 months.
