My hubbie and i travelled to thailand for the 2nd time in november (1st timethe year before and flew to Don Muang) and we ahd heard awful things about the new airport - we arrived from the uk did interneal flights to kohsamui and back and then home durig our stay - i can assure you there are no issues at this airport that are not already at other airports and i dont what the big fuss is about - at heathrow there was a queue for security that stretched the whole length of the departure area!!!! I found the new airport breathtaking as the scale of the thing is HUGE and so it feels nice and spacious and very straight forward re transfer flights etc - i felt amazed just to be there!
