Hi, I am going to Thailand in 2 weeks (1/12/07). I am gonna be on vacation for 16 days I am trying to figure out how to get from one place to the next. After I land in Bangkok, I will take a taxi and spend 6 days in Pattaya. The other places I want to visit are:
Chiang Mai (3 days) Phuket (3 days) Koh Phi Phi Island (2 days) and Bangkok (2 days). I don't know if I should leave Pattaya and fly to Phuket, then visit Koh Phi. Then back to Phuket to fly Chiang Mai and take a train to Bangkok. Or leave Pattaya, taxi to Bangkok, and take a train to Chiang Mai. Than fly from Chiang Mai to Phuket, visit the island. Then fly from Phuket to Bangkok. The only thing that is certain is I am going to visit Pattaya first and I want to vist Bangkok last so I am close the the airport. So I can head back to the USA. Hope this isn't too confusing. Never really done this much traveling before on one trip, usually I just sit still.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
