I am a regular visitor to Thailand but have never been there during the festive season so need a bit of help from you ...
Two young friends (a couple, girl 23 and guy 25) are going to Thailand for the first time on Saturday and will spend NYE in Bangkok.
Is there anything special they should/can do? They only arrive the day before and I just don't want them to get stuck at some boring hotel dinner when there could be something fabulous - I'm not sure if there are fireworks over the river etc, and where would be the best vantage point.
I would love some suggestions please - even though they are young, they are not "clubby" types, so something like a rave party wouldn't really be their scene ...
Hope everyone on the forum had a great Christmas, and here's to a wonderful 2007 to all ... I've got two trips to Thailand booked next year, so it's going to be fab for me!
