Hi, its in a prime location if you want to walk out the lobby and straight into the heart of bars/resturants etc (nothing like patong style tho!).
Its also bang on the beach too.
Taxi from the airport is around an hour, cant remember the cost but for example we travel to nai yang from Kata every year (about 1.5 hour) and it costs around 1000 baht. Its pittance really.
