We also do venture outside of patong...I have also been to bali (10times), Singapore, usa, Borneo, langkawi, penang, I do venture to other places, but love Patong. I too have children, 10 and 6 who adore being spoilt by the wonderful thai people. It is unfortunate that it started a whole debate! I just wanted to know about the footy team so that we could let their club know. At the end of the day I was "sticking up" for thailand.
