joined sofitel's, knowing i was going use them in khon kaen. there goes my cheap butt reputation, so much for being a budget traveller. well, anyway, got the card, there rack rate was 3300, privilege card rate 2300, travelhotel internet rate 1900 w/buffet breakfast. so useless for me, except next time i want to stay there and can't get internet rate. they have a corporate card rate that a friend has, and only 1600. so the only advantage for sofitel's was if late or full booking at disounted internet sites.
joined accor i think, shangra la's, but never got around to getting there. plus i can use airmiles for free stay, so canned that card.
