I remember once taking a flight from HatYai to Phuket, there was a group of young Australian soldiers on the flight, they were absolutely disgusting - all drunk, stinking, swearing their heads off loud (F'n C, F'n C, F'n C) they were pestering other passengers on the flight, and running riot around the passenger terminal at Phuket.
Thais will go a long way to avoid trouble, so these foul-mouthed yobs get away with it.
