My parents recently stayed at the Horizon Beach resortPatong (which they both love to stay at), unfortunately, there were a few football teams from Vic that also stayed. Most of the older males were well behaved, but there were young guys who took it upon themselves to make other guests stays very unenjoyable. They vomited in the hallways, surrounded the pool, in and out of the water, drinking and swearing and punching each other out in and around the hotel even threatening the thais. As the hotel did not want to name this team, I am asking if anybody knows who they were, or perhaps you stayed there at the same time(they left on 22nd October and were there 8 nights previously). A letter needs to be sent to the club. There is nothing wrong with having fun, but I know that there were quite a few guests who were scared to sleep knowing when they would arrive back to the hotel each night. There are many families who like to stay there (including my family), and do not want my holiday spoilt by drunken yobbos. I love Thailand for its wonderful people and am embarrased when aussies act like this.It is also unfortunate when the security staff can't do anything to stop it, not sure why.
