Hi there - yes, I went there about 1 month ago and it is sensational. It's at a place called Karanchanburi and if you are going there you may as well make it a whole day trip and do Bridge on The River Kwai and the Floating Markets also.

The tigers are so gorgeous and I think for memory it's 100 baht ($4 Aussie) to go in and have your picture taken. The guides lead you to the tigers and take pics of you with your own camera and you can go back as many times as you like. For 500 baht ($17 Aussie) you can have all of that plus have your pic taken with a tiger resting his/her head in your lap.

It is one of the best things I have ever done. We got a driver for the day (in a cab) and paid him 2500 baht for the whole day (for 3 of us so about $30 Aussie Dollars each) and were gone about 10 hours altogether. If you do nothing else you must do this.

The Bridge experience was so far better than I thought it would be. Very moving. Now the Floating Markets...hmm...they will try and charge you 800 baht to go on the boat and as we discovered, you can even barter that. We discovered this AFTER we got back. Back in the car we were taling about it and the driver said to us "What...you didn't barter?" we thought that as it was a "tourist" thing that we couldn't - ah well - there was our "rip off" - LOL. A great day out and well worth it let me tell you.
